Digital camera Review: Easy to use, no problems

This is how buying a product should work out. I unpacked the phones, plugged them in, and everything worked. No problems, no glitches.
The phones have good range -- I can go across the street and a bit around the corner and out of sight before the signal fades. Anywhere inside the house works too.
The central base-station needs to be in a good location in the house, however. I found quite a bit less range when it was sitting between two tall computers, but everything was fine when it was out on a tabletop in a clear area.
The phones all came with clips to let you attach them to your belt or pants pocket while you're working and they work well.
These phones made it easy to add a phone on the workbench inside my garage -- just plug in one of the handset bases to the power outlet and it's done.
I'd definitely buy the same system again, it's a very good value for the price.

I evaluated many products. I bought them at Best Buy, tried them, and then returned them. This one had the features, sound quality that we needed. We have another wireless phone with recording features. The use for this one is for our upstairs bedrooms - and we have no use for the base station (keypad or recording features - they are turned off). One of the key features is call announcing. I have 2 children - and they are starting to get calls--but they are too lazy to answer the phone. Imagine that? So, the key feature to motivate them to answer the phone is the announcement of their friend's name. Bottom line. This phone has reduced the stress in our household - perhaps an unusual reason to buy a phone!Digital camera Review: Everything I expected

I've had these phones for a couple months now and they are great. Clear, easy to use and no interference with a wireless computer network or wireless security system. One unit is in a detached garage and the signal strength is just as strong as that of the base unit. I will agree with some other reviews the Caller ID voice announcement leaves a lot to be desired. However, I didn't buy these phones for that feature so it is a minor issue to me. I was previously using a GE 5.8 phone and wanted to upgrade to a set for the whole house. These are great... very easy to use. The phone is on the small side compared to others I have seen, but that's exactly what I want... small and compact. The menus are very intuitive and the phone is extremely easy to set up. Sound quality is perfect and I have not experienced any buzzing or interference noises from any other electronics.
The intercom feature is also very nice... you just need to remember which phone is at which extension. It would have been nice to be able to name them, but it's not that big a deal. It's only four phones and isn't too difficult to remember which is where.
The backlit keypad is a nice touch. That's one of the main reasons that I chose this particular model over others offered by Panasonic. Always having a brightly lit keypad on my cell phone has spoiled me.
I feel bad for the few reviewers on here who didn't have a good experience with it. Maybe they received bum units or have houses lined with lead. Who knows. All I can say is that this DECT system is working perfectly for me and recommend it without hesitation.

This phone set has a great set of features, excellent sound and good range. The only thing I would change is the left and right function keys under the display. They are totally black on a black phone and hard to see in dim light. The center one is labelled 'menu' in white and is easier to see. Overall, after researching cordless systems for a couple of weeks, I settled on this system and am glad I did.
