We are very pleased with all aspects of this purchase. First, the usual very prompt order acknowledgement and shipping from Amazon. Also, Amazon's price was competitive with Walmart and Best Buy. The setup process was simple and quick using the instruction booklet provided. All components reflect Panasonic's high quality standards; durability and functionality. We have cancelled "caller ID" & "voicemail" from our local phone provider, thus eliminating those monthly charges. The speakerphone feature is wonderful for conversations with family members. Finally, the improved sound clarity has beem remarked upon by those who call us. Excellent value, all around!!!Digital camera Review: Excellent phone !

This is an EXCELLENT phone ! I waited 3 months after purchase to review this phone and I am still VERY pleased.
The keys are well spaced and have a nice feel when depressed. I also like the voice that announces the incoming call so you don't have to look at the screen to identify. Another nice touch is the paging feature that you can page from one room to another. You just need to remember which phone number goes in which room.
Another plus is the ability to play massages from any phone, not just the main base unit. AND, any numbers you program into one phone are stored on all phone!
I did have a problem with one phone needing to be "recharged for 7 hours", until we found that base unit was being unplugged from the wall by some leaning books.
I highly recommend this phone. I previously had a SONY cordless phone that was worthless. What a difference.
This unit is defiantly worth the money!

Love the phones but I have already been late twice because of its alarm feature. It has no icon to indicate that the alarm has been set, so you are never sure if you did it correctly. You also have to input the date when you want the alarm to sound, but the phone does not show the current date. Maybe it is only me, but late at night it is very easy to input the incorrect date to wake me up. Cell phones are easier to set, plus they show an alarm has been set. The alarm voice could also be sweeter, since it is the first thing you hear in the morning. I looked specifically for this particular model because I bought a Panasonic phone system in 1998 that still works perfectly & I wanted to add a system with more phones, but I wanted the audio announcement that only Panasonic has. I've tried AT&T & other brands that have come & gone & my Panasonic keeps on with perfect clarity. Love the announcing of the caller, so I can decide if I want to pick up the phone or let the machine get it. Always hated when the phone rang & I'd have to look at the caller ID to decide if I wanted to answer or not. I can understand perfectly who is calling - electronic voice and all - not really that hard. Stores tons of numbers & enter once & all phones have the number at the same time - same with deleting #'s. Use the night mode for one phone because it's so near the baby's room & have shut off the ringer to that phone alone - another great feature! Highly recommend Panasonic - since my 1st phone is 10 years old & is still as clear as this new one - now I just have a few more features! Didn't care that I could not call from the base since who buys a cordless phone then calls from the base? Came when promised, very quickly. System is very good and since we have a 3 story house we now already have expanded this set to 6 handset. Working incredible and without interference. Was a little worried since we have Vonage but it is working very well. Love the feature that it audibly tells you who is calling. Really nice!!!!
