Digital camera Review: Great Value and Very Reliable

Simply stated this is a great phone at an exceptional price that will last you for years. My prior phone was a Panasonic as well and the only reason why I needed to replace it after several years of use was due to the fact that I left it too close to my pool and it became saturated one day. Even still it lasted another 6 months.
I highly recommend this product.

I thought that meant that there was an "answering" system of some kind. There is NOT! Of course, the instruction manual that came with it is for six (6) different models of Panasonic digital phones. WHEW! I kept searching for the correct instructions. Then, I saw that the base unit had a different model # than the handsets and I thought that was the problem. No, it's not. The only answering system you can use with this model is if you have a Voice Mail account with your telephone company.
The other features are fine but this is not what I needed. I phoned Amazon and asked them to please change the "generic" Technical Details description of this phone so that no one else makes the same incorrect assumption.

I got these telephones for our home phone number. I recently added a second line for a home business, and we needed a way to have our home phone # accessible all over the house. The range of these phones is phenomenal, covering not only our house and yard, but even across the street!
In addition, we solved my wife's problem of not hearing when the rinse cycle in the washing machine was beginning so she could add softener: the problem was her computer desk is in the other end of the house. We simply use the intercom function on her phone and the one near the laundry nook, putting both on speakerphone, and she can clearly hear the cycles.
Highly recommended!

I really like the phones, especially the AAA rechargeable batteries. They keep their charge for about 4-5 days without being put back on the charger. Being hearing impaired the speakerphone works good too. Very pleased so far.
