I purchased the Panasonic Dect 6.0 in late October 2008 since my other cordless phones were going on the blink. The clarity is great with the 6.0 and it is pretty easy to navigate for someone that doesn't like to read all the instructions. However keep them handy since not all phones are alike and you may need to refer to them on ocassion. One good feature is it will remember the "1" from an incoming call so if you want to return the call just look for it and redial it.
