Digital camera reviews of Panasonic Dect 6.0 Series 4 Handset Cordless Phone System with Answering System (KX-TG1034S)Digital camera Review: Awesome phones Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these phones a month ago and love them. They have great reception and no static near the computer or other appliances. They were a great buy and I researched a lot of phone before I decided to spend the money on these phones. Well worth the money. The only thing I don't like is you can't shut the ringer off on the other handsets, but I'll get use to it. I recommend this brand to anyone.
Digital camera Review: BAD AND GETTING WORSE Summary: 1 Stars
Have used this system for 7 months and was disappointed right away. Now I am really disgusted. Immediately, two of the four handsets had sound problems to callers on the other end, who said I sounded like I was in a barrel or under-water. I put one in the garage and couldn't walk out the door without losing the call. The finish on the buttons started wearing off in two weeks; now all handsets look like junk. I can't hear callers using the one in my basement; I have to go upstairs to get a different handset. I wanted to use the answering machine but can't because it competes with the voice mail system. I wanted a system that gives me a visual signal when I come home that someone called. I couldn't make it work.
Digital camera Review: BANG for the BUCK! Summary: 5 Stars
The Panasonic KX-TG1034S has every feature you need, without the unnecessary (and price-increasing) bells and whistles. We need four handsets, but this model also sells as a 2-set (1032), 3-set (1033) and 5-set (1035). Take your pick, or you can always purchase another handset later, if needed.
Sound quality is excellent with this phone. No bees, wind, snow or those strange clicks that trigger conspiracy theories and paranoia. And the volume is adjustable to each handset.
Best Features:
Nice, big buttons! The keypad numbers are large and amply spaced, and each is individually raised, so they actually depress slightly when pressed. No weird little shiny rectangular numbers outlined with fluorescent color to let you know where one number ends and the next begins. I don't need a pencil to dial the phone, and my husband doesn't need to hunt for his reading glasses!
The 17-hour/7.5-day stand-by is not an exaggeration! Great battery life!
Call transfer is fantastic! No more yelling for my daughters when, as usual, the latest beau is waiting on the line. Each phone has a unit number, so I simply press "transfer, 4" and hang up the phone. My daughter Allie's handset rings in her room, and I don't have to trek through the house or scream myself silly. The Intercom feature is nice for the same reasons.
Enter phone numbers into the phonebook just once, then transfer them to the other handsets. Each handset can also add its own phonebook numbers, which is nice if, like me, you have dedicated handsets for your teenagers. I don't have to scroll through their friends' numbers!
The answering system works perfectly, and includes remote retrieval and all the needed adjustments such as number of rings before pick-up, etc. Some folks are irritated that the answering system does not display the number of new messages received, but rather simply blinks to alert you when new messages have been recorded. Who cares?! Just play the messages, right? What difference does it make whether there are five or fifteen messages--if a little digital number told you there were six messages, would you only listen to four of them? 'Nuff said.
This phone set is cool enough to satisfy your techno-savvy kids, but not too alien for your techno-challenged husband, folks and in-laws.
After all, it's a TELEPHONE, not Nintendo. Do you want to communicate with someone, or do you want to spend your time playing with a flashy-gizmo-phone-toy?
Have a great day! :)
Digital camera Review: BEST PHONE I'VE HAD Summary: 4 Stars
RANGE IS GOOD. EASY TO SET UP. EASY TO SEE KEYS ON KEYPAD. WISH IT HAD AUDIBLE BEEP WHEN THERE IS A NEW MESSAGE. WOULD BUY AGAIN.
Digital camera Review: BETTER THAN ALL THE OTHERS Summary: 5 Stars
Yes, unhesitatingly, five (5) whole stars. At first, there was an ordinary wireless phone. Then there was 900 Mz, and then came 2.8 Ghz(a vast improvement), and then 5.8 which was really excellent. But this Panasonic 6.0 is beyond excellent - it's . . . . terrestial! Simple and logical design, extraordinary range without a hint of interference and every bell and whistle on earth, and some new ones never seen before. There are simply too many to list. The full featured answering machine which works from the base unit and on every handset is also superb with amazing clarity even at high volume (and it has high volume if you like).
The price is a value and a bargain (includes four handsets) for this wonderful product, and, of course, you have the reputation and quality of Panasonic in this blow away the competition unit. If you need a multi handset one line unit, just order it now, because there is no need to compare it to the others. And, no, to answer your question, I don't own or have any interest in Panasonic.
