This product has a terrible connection problems. Signal gets lost easily. This "cordless" I have by Panasonic at home can't be used as such since we have to stay over the base to have people understand what we say. The voice is heard as if is cutting off making impossible to have fluent conversation. Over the years we have had many phone configurations in our home. But this one is the BEST! We have had it 2 years now and it's unbeatabale. The base is in our kitchen and the expandable handsets work equally well in the basement, 2nd floor and our 3rd floor attic! The reception is excellent and we will always buy Panasonic. We bought this because of the large buttons. We read the reviews that the message-waiting light had problems, but we needed the large buttons. The phone worked well, but Quest could never get the light to work with their message system. We just switched o Comcast's digital phone, which uses the same cable as our internet. Now the message-waiting light works. We will also be able to get our voice mail on our computer. Simple, attractive, good sound and easy to use. The only thing I have problems with is clearing the screen that tells me how many calls I have missed. I don't care how many calls I have missed because those who know us leave a message if we are not home. Hang ups show as a missed call and must be telemarketers or those seeking a donation of some kind. Maybe if I had all kinds of time and seriously read the manual I would figure out how to get that message off of my screen.
