I'm not a techno-geek who wants every conceivable function on my telephone. So, I was very happy with this basic cordless with answering machine. It's very compact and does what it's supposed to do without any fuss. It was a little difficult learning to program the unit with the handset, but I got it eventually. The phone is fairly easy to use but the features functions are not intuitive and difficult even after reading the manual, at least for me.
The sound quality, even on the Speakerphone function, is excellent or so the parties I am speaking to over it have told me.
Overall I would recommend this unit but don't expect it to be a Swiss Army Knife or maybe you should expect it to be a Swiss Army knife if you ever tried to use their scissors.
