Digital camera reviews of Panasonic Expandable Digital Cordless Dect 6.0 Phone System (KXTG8232B)Digital camera Review: Best phone I have had! Summary: 5 Stars
I think this phone is the best investment I made this year. I mostly speak to people on the speaker phone. In fact, I talk to my trading friend almost 5 hours a day on the speaker. Even after speaking 5 hours, I still get the full number of bars on the battery. Speaker is loud and clear. My previous phone that was also Panasonic, but bought perhaps 6 years ago did not have good speakers. However, this phone is fantastic! I strongly recommend anyone looking for a great phone with great price.
Digital camera Review: Best phone I've ever have! Summary: 5 Stars
Target has a great deal for this phone this week (only $78!!) and this store has good return policy (90 days without any re-stocking fee). Hence, I decide to give it a try. I feel completely satisfied and happy with this product after a few days. The phone is stylish, clear, loud, and good battery life. The speaker phone is very clear and loud, which is very important to me so that I can type on my computer at same time. In addition, it comes with lots of extra features such as colorful wall paper (only 3 to choose from), background color customization (blue, yellow, pink, green), caller ID, one-touch dial, phone book with 50 entries, date/time display, alarm clock, lots of ring tones selections ....etc. You can even "copy all" the phone book from one phone to another phone which saves me lots of time from entering the phone book again. There is a cool feature that you can assign different phone numbers to different groups (i.e. family, friend). Each group can be customized with different ring tones and background color! Also, you can listen your record messages from any phone. I don't have anything to complain about this product except I wish the phone can be packed with more cell-phone-like features such as camera and USB/blue tooth so that I can transfer my own ring tone and background pictures from my computer to the phone.
Digital camera Review: Best phone money can buy. Summary: 5 Stars
This is simply the best phone money can buy. A landline phone that meets or exceeds cell phone quality. It's about time that someone made a wireless land line phone that is comparable to what you'd expect in a cell phone. Very strong clear and secure encrypted signal. Simple intuitive menus. Color display. Polyphonic ring tones. Small and lightweight; fits in a shirt pocket. Excellent quality speaker phone. Works with standard headset and belt clip for hands free operation. Very long battery life; work a 14 hour day and never need to recharge. Alerts you if you have missed calls, or voicemail messages. Light up buttons so you can see them at night. Customizable background wallpaper, etc. It even has a station to station intercom. Unfortunately there is no way to upload your own wallpaper or ring tones. That should have been a feature, but unfortunately is not. Still better than any other phone out there.
Digital camera Review: Better than the non color phones! Summary: 5 Stars
I sent back the non color display phones. These are smaller!!! and have lighted keypad too!!!! I researched all these phones and these are the best..clear sound..and better than the other Panasonic non color dect 6.0 phones..
Digital camera Review: Cool Phone. Feature-Packed. Great Value. Summary: 5 Stars
I picked this up from a local retailer (Circuit City), and it's been a great buy. I've owned a few Panasonic phones before, and they have all been durable, high-quality, a great value. Their features go beyond the price bracket, and all my Panasonics have out-lasted even the more expensive models (Uniden and Vtech).
The KXTG8232B packs a lot of features for the price (I got mine for $79, but better deals are out there). Included is a 2nd handset and base, digital answerer, speakerphone, intercom with PA capability, and call mute. It's got interference-fighting DECT 6.0, a backlit keypad (attractive orange glow), is compact, appears to be high-quality, durable, and has an color-LCD screen. This is a feature found on phones costing $100+.
Other features include a high-capacity (50 entries) phone book, call entries, lots of ringer tone options, and changable screen savers and color schemes. A big plus for me are the batteries. They're unlike any phone I've ever owned. The handsets use 2 standard AAA NiMh rechargable batteries, instead of a battery pack. These aren't the usual NiCad batteries, and they last a very long time, and when they do wear out, you just replace them with rechargable AAA NiMh's. Other phones require an expensive battery pack.
It's 6.0 DECT, so even with the base in our basement and our WiFi, the call-quality is very good and interference/static-free. The WiFi wreaked havoc with our old 5.8Ghz phone (lots of interference), but has no effect on this one. Range is very good. I can get 150 feet from the base without any trouble. I couldn't even get 25 feet away with the old phone.
Call clarity is also very good on both ends, everyone says calls come in loud and clear.
My only gripes are the shiny finish (a fingerprint magnet) and there's some noticable noise during calls (ins't intrusive or effect call quality though). The keypad buttons are also smallish and nearly flush-mounted, so big-gingered folks like me might take some time getting used to them. I've hit two numbers with the same finger before. Also, for people with voicemail, the digital answerer is an added expensse.
Other than that, I can't find anything else to whine about.
This is an awesome phone; high-quality, durable, reliable, packed with innovative, useful, and practical features for the money. An excellent phone for the money.
