I really like this phone. The speakerphone is clear and people can hear me great when I use it. The color LCD screen is big enough to read from a distance to let you know who is calling. It also does different ringtones and colors for each contact or group of contacts.
My only complaints are that for such as customizable phone, it only lets you enter one phone number for each contact, which means you need a separate contact for everyone's cell phone also. Also, it seems like you could get your own backgrounds on the phone considering how sleek they look and the color LCD, but in reality there are only three background choices. The same is true with the ringtones. There is no ability to use your own ringtone, just the seven or eight that come with the phone.

This is a great system! I've had it for four months, and it's been performing well.
The selling point for me was call screening on each of the handsets. (The call screening can be turned on or off each of the handsets as well as the answering machine). As long as there's a phone nearby, I can hear who's calling.
Basic features work well: great sound, no interference with other signals, speaker phone on each handset, nice menu interface, 10 ringer melodies, message retrieval from each handset, caller id, mute button, redial, locator from the base.
Additional features include: intercom between phones; a phonebook with groups that can be transferred between phones; customized ringtone for each group.
The phone is light and comfortable, visually appealing to me, with a small footprint for each handset as well as the base unit.

Cell phone reception at my house is terrible. So I signed up for Vonage and purchased this phone. This phone is great!!! I absolutely love it, works great and very easy to use. In addition it is expandable if need be, and its a very nice classy looking phone. The only downside is the contacts are stored in the handset. I wish they were stored in a central base station so you didn't have to enter them in each handset. I am usually very critical of investments like this, so immediately I tried to find anything that is wrong with these phones and it was not easy.
The color screen is unnecessary, but it is a nice touch on a very sexy, sleek phone. The numbers illuminate orange where they would look better blue. Each handset has its own contact list, you have to go into options and select "copy all," then select the other handset, to coordinate the contact list instead of it updating automatically. I don't understand why you would want two different sets of contacts on your cordless phones.
Other then these few minor flaws, these phones are great. I have had no sound quality problems whatsoever and I live in a basement with thick walls. Good battery life too, I use these phones very often and only have to charge them overnight every couple of days. I don't use the answering machine so I cannot comment on that, but I would definitely recommend this phone to friends, it is well worth the price.

So far, this cordless telephone is very good. It's clear and easy to install. Because its frequency is low it does not interfer Wi-Fi or any other appliance connections. The type of batteries may also be easily found in nearby stores.
