Every time my headset gets a little worn I want to try a new headset in search of the ultimate headset. I have been sorely disappointed with every other headset (maybe 20+ headsets)which is mind-boggling including Plantronics $400+ cordless headsets - price being no object. It is like a ritual, that always leads me back to this headset. I don't work for Panasonic and have no affiliation, but I want everyone to continue buying this headset so when my six pack purchase wears out they will continue to build this unit. I have everyone in the office using this unit and will lead the charge like Hillary for Barack - maybe a bad example. For $12-$15 there is no better unit at any price ... period. I have used a lot of different phone headsets over the years. This Panasonic KX-TCA60 is the least expensive of all of them I have used and yet it has the best sound. With most headsets I have to turn the volume on my phone as high as it will go to get enough volume. With this headset I set the phone volume at half or less most of the time and when I do have a connection with someone where I need additional volume I can get it. I do wish it had a mute switch but the great volume is much more important. The sound quality is also very good too. I typically use headsets that cost around two to three times what this one cost but there is no comparison. I have also used it on several phones with the same result. Used on a GE, a Panasonic, a Motorola and a Motorola cell phone. It's always great to find something that costs little and out performs everything else you try regardless of price. Yea, I'm one of those who still uses a non-Bluetooth cell phone, but I refuse to give up a phone that has served me well for so many years and withstood all sorts of punishment (accidentally dropped a number of times) but kept on ticking.
I needed a headset for hands-free operation when driving my car, and I tried one of those earbud headsets. Audio quality was terrible for those, and I could barely hear a thing. So I said the heck with it and bought this Panasonic headset instead-- I knew Panasonic has always made good-quality headsets, and I wasn't disappointed. Audio is loud and clear, and the mic works great too.

I use headphones for everyday telephone use in my home office. Every time the phone rings or when I need to call someone, I put the headphones on and off. The everyday wear and tear takes it's toll over a year or two.
The only headphones I have ever found that are durable enough with acceptable sound quality are these Panasonice head phones. That's why I buy a half dozen at a time for my office, and one in each car for my mobile phones.
I especially like the solid feel to the spring action while wearing them on my bald head. They stay put!
