I ordered this item to replace the Panasonic KX-TCA92 which totaly did not work with my Panasonic Panasonic KX-TS105B Corded Speakerphone. If ordering this phone, please note that the manual states to use only the kx-tca87(no longer on the market) or the kx-tca90 (which has been replaced with the kx-tca98. This phone and this headset are Totally compatible!!! the sound is very clear an crisp. volume control works great, even with the control on the telephone, you can adjust either one and the sound quality is still great.Digital camera Review: Weak microphone makes headset unusable

I have tried using this headset with 2 different Panasonic cordless phones, one 900MHz and the other 5.8GHz. For both phones, on a variety of calls, the other party has trouble hearing me and says that I sound as if I am very far away. I had been using an old Uniden headset on the same phones and it worked fine, but then the plastic head-band broke and I bought the Panasonic TCA-98.
