Digital camera reviews of Panasonic KX-TG6021M 5.8 GHz Expandable Digital Cordless PhoneDigital camera Review: A really good cordless phone Summary: 5 Stars
I read a lot of reviews before buying four of these phones, trying to find something people were happy with. I'm driven crazy by poorly thought out, hard to use, or poor quality electronics.
This is an excellent phone. Others have detailed functions so I won't get into that. I'll just say that it took no time to figure out the basic functions (it was easiest for my 12 year old daughter of course). One nice thing it does is to show on the display that we have a new voice mail in our phone company operated voice mail system--I don't know if all newer phones do that but it's really a good feature. The speaker phone works very nicely.
One suggestion, and I wouldn't take a star away for it, is to make the phones mate better with the recharger/stand--both the base unit and the extensions.
The phone has to be set on the stand at the exact right angle or it doesn't sit right. You just have to get used to setting it down right. Doesn't seem it would have taken much engineering to make it fall into the right position regardless of how you approach the stand. No big deal though.
Summary of Panasonic KX-TG6021M 5.8 GHz Expandable Digital Cordless PhonePut a Handset in Every Room This model is expandable to up to three additional handsets, giving you a total of four handsets, all while using only one base and one phone jack. Go ahead and put one in the den, the kitchen, the master bedroom and the living room so you won't have to make a run for it when the phone rings. Turn the Ringer Off... Don't miss important calls when the ringer is off. The Light-Up Indicator at the base of the antenna will flash quickly to show that you have an incoming call, and it will flash slowly to let you know you have a new message in your voice mailbox1. You can also choose up to three different light-up indicator colors to link to your pre-programmed phonebook data. Light-Up ID1 requires corresponding Caller ID information to be received from an incoming call. ?Or Keep the Ringer On With Ringer ID1,
