We wanted a plain one line cordless phone without an answering machine or any other fancy stuff -- this phone is just perfect -- has useful features, doesn't take up a lot of room and works very well.
Panasonic has another winner.

I've had good experience with Panasonic phones in the past. The Oct 2007 Consumer Reports issue rated this phone #3 behind a more costlier Uniden and an AT&T 5.8/2.4 GHZ model. It has great voice quality both hearing and talking, easy to use settings and display, and I especially like the adjustable ringer and volume controls.
The Panasonic KXT-TG6021M is big bang for the bucks! If you're looking for a excellent basic phone (no base speaker phone, no lighted keypad, no VM features) but has conferencing and speaker phone in the hand set, buy this model. Warranty is a year but for a under $40 phone, who cares.

This phone was well worth the price, it works great, was easy to set up unlike some other cordless phones I have purchased. The voice tones are excellent with no static or distortion. I would reccomend the purchase of this phone with no hesitation!

I love this little phone, if I knew it was such a nice phone for the price I would have purchased the one with the answering machine and extra hand set. It's the first phone in ages I've purchased that the sound quality was decent. I had a Panasonic phone/answering machine several years ago. When it finally died (I loved that phone/answering machine) I tried to find another Panasonic with comparable features, for some reason nothing like it was being produced. I'm on my 3rd phone/answering machine (various brands) since then and have hated every one. The sound quality is always tinny/or you could hear yourself breathing, the features lacking etc. Finally with this little phone I again have the feature of a distinctive ring for certain people and it also displays a different color light on the phone top for certain people so you can see it from a distance if you're to far from the caller ID screen. After reading the manual and see again some of the features of my old Panasonic phone/answering machine I probably will be purchasing that in the near future.Digital camera Review: Many features for a basic phone

I have been fully satisfied with this phone, which replaced one blown out by a lightning strike. I was pleasantly surprised to discover it has a speaker-phone option. Charges quickly, battery holds charge longer than old phone. Easy to use and comfortable handset. Excellent value for the price.
