I received the phone and hooked it up but after a few hours, it did not work. The power adaptor was defective. Amazon service was terrific. They immediately emailed me a return postage label and sent out another phone. This phone is working great and the voice quality is super. The phone works fine...but it took several days after installation for it to properly function. And we were very careful to charge the system as per the instructions. The operation is not as straightforward as most cordless phones and it takes a bit of getting used to. For example, picking up a ringing phone will not connect the call unless you program the phone to do this.Digital camera Review: Not up to Panasonic standards

I was not impressed with this Panasonic phone. Other reviewers have mentioned the awkward angle for wall mounting - we could not read the caller ID if the phone was charging. But worse, was that the phone also had an annoying echo to it, (one that my husband didn't notice, but drove me crazy). This was a big step down from our previous Panasonic phone (900 MHz) that we would still be using if the screen hadn't failed after 5 or 6 years of use. The other functions on the phone worked fine, and I liked it except for the mounting and echo.Digital camera Review: One great phone

My old phone worked fine, except when I used it in the backyard. I only bought this because that is what I needed, distance. Ends up it's a great little phone. Small footprint on my desk, it's a speaker phone, very user friendly, just a great phone and would have been at twice the price. And as for using it in my backyard, works as if I'm standing next to the base station.Digital camera Review: One use phone
