there are many options at the $20 price point for cordless phones but in my experience, they all lack in clarity and/or consistency at even minimal distances from the base. For a few bucks more, this phone has everything I need and *very* good reception from up to 100 feet from the base. The in-handset speakerphone is a bonus, and according to the manual, the battery will go for days on one charge (assuming little to no use).Digital camera Review: Exactly what I wanted

I'm not a big "features" guy so this phone was perfect. It's very simple and gives clear reception from almost any distance.

I love this phone, looks great, long battery life, cristal clear sound, long range, etc, etc, etc
The only problem is with the speaker on the handset, it is good but if you move a couple of steps away from it you will have to yell so the other party can hear you. Maybe the mic is not powerful enough?
I still give the phone 5 stars...
