Digital camera Review: Good Phone with Basic Bells and Whistles

I was looking for a basic cordless phone with Caller ID and Call Waiting Caller ID with backlit Caller ID screen. You'd think this would be easier to find but it wasn't, it seems that all the newest phones are more complex. Phone is easy to use, has easy to read Caller ID screen and has good sound when on a telephone call. Can't complain, in fact, I'm about to order a second one. It is far superior in every way to many of the phones out there with similar features, that sell for $20 - 25. Save yourself the need to replace or hassle, but this one instead.Digital camera Review: Good Value

So far so good with this phone. Our old phone gave squelch when we ran the microwave while using the phone and this doesn't do that. It has great features like caller ID, mute and hold. It was easy to wall mount and has a nice feel when you hold it. I like that it has a speaker phone option so I can put it on the counter to listen to voicemail. It also has an earphone option which is great for longer hands-free conversations. For the money, this is a sure thing.Digital camera Review: Good cordless phone

For the previous Panasonic 5.8 GHz model, the range wasn't as good, and that phone had dual antennas on the base and an antenna knub on the handset. Panasonic has improved upon this as this model has improved range without any visible antennas, along with good talk time. I live in a rural area with lots of trees and hills and can get at least 250-300 ft away from the base and still have a good connection. The handset speaker phone is also good. I recommend this phone.

Really only bought this phone for an extra office phone. I've charged it up and let the battery discharge all the way three times now and the battery life is at least a week of sitting on the desk. Normally I keep my phones on the cradle but my son said not to do this, I guess as a means to extend the battery? I have not tried to program any information so can't comment on that aspect. The sound quality is good and I have no complaints about the phone. I have used the locator a few times and that works great!
