Digital camera Review: Finally - a readable screen

I needed a phone that has (a) clear sounding reception, and (b) a screen that could be read without putting my glasses on (lazy). This Panasonic fit the bill. Nice natural sound, minimal (none actually) static or interference, and a very readable black/white screen. I was so impressed by this unit that I bought their model 6051 (? not sure of number -- but it has a base unit and 3 expandable phones).
This phone is quite well thought out (we have 12 phones in this house - most of them portable - and have gone through MANY phones over the years). Buttons are well placed and easy to use; there are no inappropriate buttons or dials on the side (that get twitched just handling the receiver, for example ... volume control).
All in all, a nice reliable (have had it for several months now) unit -- one that I would recommend to others.

Very nice phone for the price. I wanted the speakerphone for when I'm put on hold forevermore, and this is my first in-handset speakerphone. Very nice. I can carry it around with me, set it down to load the dryer, pick it up, set it down to blowdry my hair, all the while on speakerphone (usually on hold)....
Another nice feature: the battery life display. My old cheapo phone did not have this and it would kill me when I'd been on hold for a really long while and the rep is *finally* talking to me and my phone dies!
Good battery life so far. Good range, good sound quality.

This phone is great for my needs - a little too much even since we do not have call waiting, caller ID, etc. The only negative comment is that there was no belt clip with the phone to carry it when on speaker. This phone is what to buy if you want an adequately basic cordless phone. The 5.8 GHz is powerful and clear, and the unit allows for Caller ID, Call Waiting, phonebook, and voicemail. Accessing these functions is easily done without ever referencing the instruction manual. The phone is intuitively simple to use.

i bought this because of brand and price.phone is compact and so far works well.only downside is numbers don't light up which is nice in low light to have.but i like it anyway and would recommend.
