Digital camera Review: Excellent product.

I bought these to pair with my Comcast VoIP service. They work fantastic. Quality construction (made in Malaysia, not China) and easy to use all of the features without having to resort to the instructions. The speaker phone feature works particularly well even from the handsets. Sound quality is great. Battery life is never an issue. The only thing I can criticize is the odd, rounded shape of the back of the handsets which make it impossible to cradle one between your ear and shoulder - reliably the handset will slip and fall to the floor. I actually like these phones very much with two exceptions.
First the good: They are very easy to set up. The range and voice quality are both excellent. They are weighted well and fit nicely in your hand. Battery life appears to be excellent and they use AA rechargeables that you can purchase easily if they ever need replaced.
Now the bad: There is no audible message alert. I had this feature on my previous phone and miss it. This may not bother some people. Also the phonebook, menu and redial keys are black on a black background. This makes it hard to distinguish them at night.
All-in-all these are excellent phones. I would highly recommend them if the lack of an audible alert is not a problem for you.

Great phones... I purchased after reading reviews. Sets up very easily, simple instructions. The intercom system rocks. Enter a contact in any handset and that contact is downloaded automatically to all the other handsets. Only negative comment is that the handsets are light and slippery... by that I mean; the all plastic body would be better if it had some sort of non-slip coating on it. I am extremely pleased with the quality of these phones and the ease of use. My only critical comment is that on my old system, my answering machine would show the number of messages left. If you checked a message and didn't delete it, it would show on the display. This system does not have that digital display, just a flashing button on any new calls. So, if my husband gets home before I do and checks messages, and there is a call for me, he does not delete it, but may forget to tell me that I have a message (he has been somewhat forgetful lately). I am not aware of it, as there is no visual indication. This has resulted in me not returning calls, and I actually missed an appointment, as my husband forgot to tell me that my doctor's office had a cancellation and were holding a time for me to come in. While the overall phones are good in quality and
clarity, there are three major disappointments:
1. No dedicated caller id button
Should not have to scroll through menu to get to
caller ids of recent calls as getting recent call
history is a frequent need.
2. Speaker phone volume is too low even on highest volume.
3. System is very base-centric whereby if someone
is using one of the phones, the other phones
cannot retreive caller ids on recent calls, etc.
as the data appears to be stored at the base as
opposed to each individual phone and when someone
is using any other handset, the base is busy
and cannot respond to any other handset inquiry
regarding the phone book or caller id list, etc.
