Works well. Great range. Messages clear and easy to retrieve. Visible message reminder, not audible.

Digital camera Review: 3 weeks into phone use
Summary: 4 Stars

I have had the KX-TG6702B 2-line Cordless Phone for about 3 weeks. In addition to the 1 additional handset which comes with this model, I purchased 2 additional handsets (for a total of 4 handsets altogether. Please note that this is my second (4-handset) Panasonic Cordless Phone System, the previous one being approximately 5-6 years old, and was the 2.4 GHz variety. My reason for replacing was two-fold....my older Panasonic System had 2 of the 4 handsets failing (batteries...who knows?), and I also was desireous of the 2-line answering system I did not have before (I had been using AT%T's voicemail system on both lines, to the tune of about $30.00 per month....not affordable).

Having set up and used the new 5.8 GHz model, the overall quality seems good (my home/office is on 3 floors, and thus the need for multiple handsets). I do hear some static interference when using the handsets, although it is not bad enough to interfere with usage. There are multiple programming features (keys/commands) to master. And I'm pretty sure that I have not accomplished them all. The biggest irritant is that when calls are received (whether they are answered or not), each handset compiles its own list of calls. So, if I answer the majority of calls on one handset, the total calls received show up on t

Digital camera Review: A great cordless 2-line phone

I had been searching a while for a cordless 2-line phone with speaker, etc - and there aren't alot on the market.

This phone turned out to be an excellent buy

I recommend it

Digital camera Review: A very good choice
Summary: 4 Stars

I've only had this phone for a week, but it is already better than the 3 other AT&T phones I've had over the past 2 years. The best thing about this phone so far is that it doesn't have any background hum in the handset(all 3 AT&T phones did). You can hear the person you are talking with clearly. The volume in the handset is more than adequate. The phones appearance is so-so, but it is very functional and that matters more to me than a sleek appearance with lousy sound quality. My 3 prior AT&T phones didn't last more than 4-10 months. The background hum eventually got so loud, I could barely hear the person I was talking with. From my experience so far, I would recommend this phone over AT&T and VTech. I hope the phone lives up to my praise over the long term.

I've now had this phone for over 4 months and am still very satisfied with it.

1.5 years later it is still working well.

Digital camera Review: An OK product
Summary: 3 Stars

Programming the phone is not intuitive. The display is difficult to read. The phone is easy to answer. Volume is loud enough. Too many steps to place a call after finding name in directory.
