Digital camera Review: Got a replacement after the refurbed model I bought wasn't working...
Summary: 5 Stars

When I shopped, there were no new ones available but I chose a refurbed instead of used, thinking a better chance that it wouldn't have problems. But when I got it some keys weren't working -- called Panasonic, they said to send it and eight days later I had a replacement -- the box didn't say it was refurbed (although the receipt did) so I don't know if it was. Either way, this one worked fine.

Sound quality is much better than the 2.4 Ghz phone it replaced. Only feature I haven't quite figured is call screening -- but I haven't checked if that's a setting I need to adjust. The feature set is nice and it's fairly easy to use, programming features using the handsets.

It's nice that it comes with one extra handset and base so I can have an extension in a room that's not wired. Range seems good (have not taken the phone outside to test.

So far so good (have owned the replacement about 1 week).

Digital camera Review: Great
Summary: 5 Stars

Great phone, having the second handset is very convenient. Great connectivity, no static. Very pleased

Digital camera Review: Great Features, Terrible Speakerphone Speakers
Summary: 2 Stars

I upgraded a previous Panasonic system which was very similar to this one thinking I would be improving on a great product, boy was I wrong. I should have stayed with my older one until it gave out.
The reasons I choose Panasonic was simple:
1. I needed an expandable unit
2. No phone jack is needed for add on phones, merely an power outlet
3. You can listen to your messages from any handset, you do not need to go to the base unit to retrieve them and you can erase those messages from any handset

The major complaint I have is that within a very short period of purchasing the base unit the speaker in the handset thru which you hear your messages and speakerphone started cracking and then broke completely. It is a different speaker than you hear the caller thru.
I purchased an addt'l handset when they were back in stock and within 6 months it started doing the same thing.
I love the features of these phones. I need a 2 line phone and I also use the speakerphone on the handsets regularly so it is very important to me that it works.
I'm disappointed in the quality, even worse, I'm angry at myself for "upgrading" and not taking back the base unit immediately after it started cracking.

Digital camera Review: Great Phone
Summary: 5 Stars

It has many different features and it's a sturdy phone. When someone's leaving a message on the answering machine, you don't hear the message while it's being recorded. Actually, I like that feature because when messages are getting recorded, I usually have someone else in the room, and they don't need to hear the message.

Digital camera Review: Great Phone
Summary: 5 Stars

I have a home-based business, and so I need a two-line phone that is cordless with at least one additional cordless handset. This was difficult to find. Most come with a corded phone and a cordless handset.
The Panasonic phone is reasonably priced and has very good quality sound. The setup was very simple. I would definitely recommend this phone.
