Didn't check reviews, trusted Panasonic, big mistake. It is exactly as many have stated, absolutely frustrating. Listening to the caller you were waiting on leave you a message, as you stand next to the base clicking the talk button like a crazy person, waiting for the power to come back on a fully charged phone. uuuugggghhhh! It goes dead after the first ring. Then powers up and indicates 'missed call'. Really? Like its taunting you. This has been the case since day one, happens for 90% of calls. Please DO NOT BUY this phone. In the case of an emergency, how many times would you have to press talk to be able to call for help? Currently researching to replace. Weary about trying Panasonic again.
