Overall this phone works very well. The only two gripes I have (but not a show stopper at all) is the fact the units cannot be named and the range, however good, still needs to be improved. Im operating in a 5K square foot house. I can't quite get coverage from end to end and that is about 100 feet either way through many walls. Thats not bad for a phone but I expected a skosh more. Fantastic plain old telephone cordless handset. No dialer on base unit, but otherwise functions excellently and the upgrade to a color screen helps visibility.
A real bargain in my book.

We have been really happy with these phones. Living in a home with a basement our previous phone system had trouble with range and interference with other wireless components.
