My father said that if he were just rating the phone, it would be 5 Stars. The 4 star rating is due to the fact that he believes the features are not user friendly such as reviewing "last call" or getting into the phone book.
The phones (1 set that included answering machine base station plus additional handset plus an additional 2 handsets) linked up without a hitch, very easy. Sound quality very good. The #1 feature they like is the qty of units, they now do not need to travel very far distances, if any, to answer the phone.

I purchased and returned two different sets of suposedly DECT 6.0 phones from GE before finally doing some research and finding this phone on sale. It is a very attractive phone, has terrific range, and very clear reception. The hands-free setting and intercom/paging settings are superb and are great for my three story house when you don't feel like screaming or just can't find one of the phones. I think they are slightly overpriced, as the full screen color display is nothing to write home about (or at least I can't figure out how to do much with it oter than change the colors), but all in all, this is likely the best phone on the market right now of it's kind.Digital camera Review: Pretty cool phone, great reception/sound quality, but a bit too small.

This phone is very small, and looks great in any room. However, it is so small, that I find that my old phone was more comfortable to talk on.
The range of this phone is great, and sound quality blows my 5.8GHz panasonic phone away.
The backlit keys are great for bedroom use, when you don't want to turn on the light to make a phone call. The phone works with any of the Panasonic DECT6.0 phone systems, my base is a 1034S.

I bought a new one in store at first, which wasn't compatible with the set we already had, so we returned it. Then we found this refurbished one online, the delivery was quick, the price very low compared to anything new, and best of all - it worked right away, just had to plug it in!
