I am so glad I purchased this camera for my husbands Christmas gift. The service and shipping time was terrific and he loves this camera. I shopped and shopped to find the extra zoom power and talked to many sales people in camera depts as well as reading the reviews online. This was the least expensive place I found it including all the pre holiday "door busters"

I was looking for a camera small enough to fit into a pocket during kayaking expeditions or hikes but that still had more than a 3X zoom!! Hard to come by! This camera finally fit the bill and I couldn't be happier with it! The Intelligent Auto mode is amazing! I thought just AUTO was easy but this is even easier and more precise. The wide angle lens by Leica is also a plus and the 10X zoom allows me to take closer shots of wildlife I see on my outings. So far, I'm very happy with this camera. This camera is fantastic i have been using it for 10 days now and the photos have come out great.
In many different conditions (snow, rain, blue skies, night mode or movement) the Ia setting has worked very well the face recognition is allso very good.
The best thing of the camera off course the 10x zoom fitted in such a small camera.

I'm not a camera expert, just the dad of a 5 year old that wants to capture great memories. It's easy to use, compact, and takes great pictures. The processor and it's capabilities is amazing - from automatically detecting light levels so you don't get dark photos (I just took a great picture of my son, in the dark, in bed sleeping) to finding faces the picture and focusing on them correctly. It also has a great feature allowing the user to take continuous photos with very little delay.
