Digital camera Review: Fast, Blur Free, Super Zoom.....

I decided to upgrade my Panasonic TZ1, which is only a 5MP. I first purchased the Panasonic ZS3...Shocked, I found it to be slower than my TZ1, and the images were constantly blurry. I returned the ZS3. I then purchased the Canon G-10. Which took great pictures, still slower than my TZ1, but a lot better quality pictures. The G-10 however lacked the zoom, compactness, and quickness of my TZ1, so I returned it. I then purchased the Canon 990is. Which I thought was a lot like the ZS3, but without the superzoom, and it was quite a bit slower than my TZ1.....Which brought me to the TZ5. The TZ5 is almost as quick as my TZ1, has the super zoom, blur free image quality, and better quality pics compared to my TZ1.
I mostly needed a camera for kids on the go, to the zoo, vacations, animals, also macro.
If you are looking for a compact, fast snap, blurr free pic, with superzoom, this camera is for you.

I needed a new digital camera so I thought I would upgrade to the Panasonic Lumix camera. The camera is GREAT! The picture clarity is outstanding, the zoom is amazing and the camera is so small and compact that it fits everywhere! I would recommend this camera for the photographer looking for more than just an average picture taking experience.

I've had the camera for a couple of months now and have been please with the pictures. The camera has lots of options and as I learn what each of them do, I am able to customize my photos to be of very good quality. If I use the fully automatic settings, I don't always get great pictures, but have found if I choose appropriate settings on scene or otherwise, the pictures turn out really well.
I purchased the camera, a spare battery and SD memory card when I made my purchase. I've been very pleased with my purchase so far.
