Digital camera Review: DO NOT DO IT !!!

Wanted to like this product....gift from wifey. I love technology and photos, but the quality of the image on this product is not acceptable. Jaggy edges and too much contrast...not a pleasing result. Tried increasing the resoluton of my photos, cropping photo to the size of the display, but nothing seemed to help. I bought 5 of these and 4 of them worked great. One of them however did not. I was able to load it with pictures and it was fine. Then I gave the frame to my parents for Christmas so everyone could see the pre-loaded pictures and ooh and aah over them. Except it was frozen at the opening screen. Well that was very upsetting! There is no reset button and no troubleshooting guide addressing this. Turning it off and on did not help, still froze at opening screen. So I figure no problem, kept the receipt, I'll return it. Except the limited warranty says to go to the website for an address and there isnt one. You can't leave a message when you call their tech support, it just rings and finally says number available. I am debating returning it because I am not sure I can count of the warranty for replacement.
All that being said, the others I bought seem to be working very well and I am very satisfied. Although now I can help but wonder for how long after reading all these bad reviews.

I purchased this, plugged it in and it worked for about 5 minutes. Tried to call Pandigital (aka Sony) as never got connected to the right person. Looked on line for support. I was hugely disappointed in the resolution - further, the screen had a vertical line running down that displayed what was on the left of the line slightly darker than what was right of the line. I already threw the box and receipt away so I can't return it - but frankly, even if the line wasn't there, this frame is just not worth it. I received Pandigital 7" Photo Frame (DPF70-2) as a Christmas gift and haven't been able to get the SD Card slot to function. When connecting to the PC via USB cable it tells me the removable device needs to be formatted. Windows attempts to format the card and fails. I'm able to format the card with a USB Card Reader and copy pictures to the SD card OK. When I insert the SD Card into the Photo Frame is doesn't display any of the pictures, just a blue frame around the picture location.
I contacted PanDigital Tech Support via 800# and never received a call back so I sent them an email. I received email response back after several days. They had me try several things to resolve the issue; this troubleshooting process went on for more than week to no avail. They eventually acknowledged the Photo Frame appeared defective, When I asked to exchange the Photo Frame (taking advantage of the 90 day warranty advertised on their site), they told me to return it to the store it was purchased.
I do not consider this very good customer service; I would not recommend this product.
