I knew my laptop colors were off, and could not calibrate properly by eye w/ OSX's color calibration utility. So i ordered this little gem. Now what I see on my camera matches my laptop and my workstation. I'd been having issues with calibrating my LCD (VX9000) with my photo printer (Epson R1800). I was very skeptical of "huey" as the price seemed to good to be true. I was thankfully wrong. The little gadget is a blessing, I love it and don't know how I worked without it.

I bought this when I started printing my own photos at home, but it's useful whether you send your photos out to be printed or do it at home. The price is about right if you are just getting started with color calibration.
The basic Huey device is easy setup and use, but I don't really use the auto light adjustment. It's small enough to take with you if you use a laptop (in fact it's always in my laptop bag). If you are going to use it with a laptop, then I think it's the perfect buy, but if you are going to use it with a permanent desktop setup you might want to consider the pro setup since there isn't a huge price difference.

I purchased this product as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend who is a graphic designer and he loved it. He uses it everytime he's on the computer, even if he isn't designing anything.
