Digital camera reviews of Patagonia Kindle Case (Fits 6" Display, 2nd Generation Kindle)Digital camera Review: Another great Kindle Option Summary: 5 Stars
The case is great. The handles are convenient. The case has enough padding to protect but is not bulky. Well done.
Digital camera Review: Awesome case Summary: 5 Stars
A lot of people talk about the little elastic strips not being efficient. I think they are just fine? What are you people doing with your kindle? Jogging? Rock climbing? It's a piece of electronic equipment...be careful with it. Great case. It is definitely water-resistant. I checked that out first thing. Got to love Patagonia for being eco-conscious.
Digital camera Review: Awkwardly protective Summary: 2 Stars
The case works very well to protect the Kindle. Unfortunately, it is not practical. The zipper is does not operate smoothly and offers too much resistance, making the case annoying to open. The little straps inside that are supposed to hold the Kindle in place are too small for the job.
probably my mistake to have bought it. Might have been better to buy a cover.
Digital camera Review: Bad Zipper, not worth the price Summary: 1 Stars
This cover is not worth the cost and the zipper is horrible. Patagonia should be embrassed to put their name on this product. The features sounded great, I ordered it and promptly sent it back. Zipper works very poorly, have to strongly hold the case (squeezing your Kindle) to get the zipper closed. Feared the Kindle would pop out when opening or closing the case. The handle straps are odd as everyone mentioned, these would probably just get caught on stuff in your purse, backpack or briefcase. I was VERY disappointed. I ordered the Belkin case instead and I'm happy with that, well padded, fits in my purse. Would have like something that folded back so I could keep the Kindle in a case when reading, but first priority for me is something small in size and well padded. and a zipper that works!
Digital camera Review: Best "read in" case Summary: 5 Stars
I recently bought the kindle 2 and being a bit clumsy I wanted a case with a fair amount of padding that I could keep the kindle in while I read. This fit the bill perfectly. In addition to zipping around for transportation security, the front can be folded back while reading to provide a real "book" feel to the kindle. All of my friends who have tried my kindle both in and out of the case, prefer the "in-case" reading experience. A little pricey and it looks a little rugged, but man is this full of function!
