Digital camera reviews of Patagonia Kindle Case (Fits 6" Display, 2nd Generation Kindle)Digital camera Review: Could be better Summary: 3 Stars
I love Patagonia and bought this exclusively because I appreciate the company's respect for the environment. That said, it's a fairly mediocre product. The Kindle slides out very easily. The zipper sticks and is awkward and the design is pretty uninspiring. I'm all for the enviro-cred, but (perhaps not unlike the Kindle itself), the design leaves plenty to be desired.
Digital camera Review: Cute Case, but not practical for my Kindle. Summary: 2 Stars
Nice case, but not practical. Difficult to carry the two handles do nothing, two zippers very annoying and little too bulky to easily slip into my purse.
Digital camera Review: D Pierce Summary: 5 Stars
The cover protects and makes handling the Kindle easier. I did not have any problems with the zipper shared by other reviewers. I purchased both the cover and the skin and thery work well together. A little bit like a belt and suspenders but feel comfortable that the Kindle will travel and is protected from damage.
Digital camera Review: DBAs Summary: 5 Stars
I think that this is a great unit and extremely durable. I use it a lot at my health club during my cardio training and weight training. It gets a lot of rugged usage and it stays looking great.
Digital camera Review: DO NOT BUY THIS Summary: 1 Stars
I bought this case in December 2009 when I got my Kindle. I liked the looks of it and the fact that it closed completely. The zipper worked for about 2 months, then began to stick. I dealt with it knowing I could not return a product Ive used for 2 months. Last week (7 months later) the zipper stuck so badly that I was afraid I may not get the damn cover off. I struggled with it on Saturday as I sat in the pedicure chair at the nail salon. Finally, with much mustered up strength I opened it. The zipper broke (of course) and my Kindle went flying into the pedicure water. Luckily I grabbed it quickly. At home I took the entire Kindle apart and let it dry. After one day of drying, and 12 hours of charging it, my Kindle recovered. If it weren't for that damn Patagonia cover, I would have found a better way to spend my Sunday afternoon...
