I recently bought three of those for a portable motion capture setup and I'm very happy with them. They're small, sturdy and have all the degrees of freedom that count. Handy notches in the joints keep the camera in place without having to tighten up the clamp like a maniac and therefore the plastic construction is more than adequate if your camera is not too heavy.
