Digital camera Review: Double the cost!!!

The Wall Mount itself is a good, well designed product. My complaint is that the manufacturer "claim" is that any 22 to 40 inch LCD can be mounted to it.
When the mounting holes in the back of my 40 inch Sony Bravis LCD did not match those of the supplied "adaptor plate", I called Peerless customer service to see how to proceed. After some time I was told that I would need to have an additional "adaptor plate", at an additrional cost of $115 plus tax and shipping. I asked the customer service rep to confirm that in addition to the $101 that I paid for the articulating arm, that I woulld now need to pay an additional $115 + for another adpator plate before I could use the product. She said that was correct.
So BEFORE you purchase, I suggest you call Peerless to see if your LCD fits on the "standard" adptor plate. I never considered Sony an "off brand"!

I purchased a 32 inch Sony for my downstairs bar. I did research on the net for a wall fixture. I found this one and only good reviews. They were all right. I asked my two adult, mechanically able, sons to help me and it took about ten minutes. It allows my guests to see the T.V. from two rooms. Just a note. My Sony malfunctioned and I had to return it for a new T.V. (Good service). Whet it arrived I had to remove the old one and replace it with the new one. This is the first wall arm I'd ever installed and it was real easy. Usually when I buy items there are screws or parts missing at times. This product had many extra parts and screws left over, I guess depending on which TV you were installing, they had parts for everything. Will eventually need a TV for the dining room and will definitely get another wall arm like this one.Digital camera Review: Easy installation

I used this to mount a 26 inch Sharp LCD HD TV. I needed it to fully extend and rotate so that the display was perpendicular to the wall with the center of the TV nearly 24 inches from the wall. I didn't want the display to sag and it stays in this extended position at all times.
Mission accomplished ! The mount was easy to install and adjust. It is very sturdy and holds this extended position very well. The mount even has nice cable raceways to hide cords. Sturdy. Well made. Easy install.
