I bought 2 of this item after checking with the manufacturer site for compatibility. It fits very well for my 32" Toshiba but it is way too small for the 42" LG. Be very careful if your TV's greater than 37".Digital camera Review: Beware size indicated

This product came with all great parts except the bolts/screws that mount it to the wall. 3 out of 4 heads came off while trying to install this item. Also, this item will BARELY fit on your wall. the mount is only a little over 16" wide, so if you have a newer house, your studs will most likely be too far away.

I have bought other mounts and they were much easier to use. Once I finally put it together (Most of the other ones are more assembled) I found out it wouldn't even accommodate the 42" TV I had bought at the same time. It is listed as 23-46" and now I have to return it. I went out to Best Buy and bought an appropriate mount because I had everything all over the living room and wasn't about to wait for a new shipment to come in. I can't believe there wasn't a warning that says something about the mount not accommodating the specific TV I purchased and AMAZON.com should have some kind of red flag if you are purchasing the items together to be sure they are compatible!Digital camera Review: CHECK YOUR VESA SPECIFICATION.

This mountd DID NOT FIT my Samsung 42" plasma. The stantions are too short for a VESA 600 wich have the mounting bolts at 15.75in on center vertically. The stantions for this mount are only 13in. Also, if your TV uses the large 4mm M8 size mounting screws, this kit does not include them and they're too big for the holes in the stantions. Check your TV mounting dimensions BEFORE buying this mount.
