Digital camera reviews of Pentax DSLR Crossover BagDigital camera Review: Good quality at an unbeatable price. Summary: 5 Stars
I was a little skeptical about this bag because of the price. But don't mistake the quality for the price.
This will kick the Lowepro Slingshot100 to the curb for it's affordability and quality. The term "you get what you pay for" does not apply here.
Digital camera Review: Good starting point Summary: 4 Stars
Good quality and pedding to hold my gears:
in the main body-
Xsi w/ 18-55mm
55-250mm
50mm std.
1-2 58mm filters.
in the upper pocket-
Flash 430EXII
Battery charger and back up
4 AA batteries
Some small stuff
in the side pocket -
lens caps
SD card holders
Post-it notes/pen
Very little space left after all these. It is a right size for starters when camera gear is not your main "show."
Could be better -
Add two little "ears" on both sides of the bag so that it can also function as a shoulder bag - when one has to carry a backpack already on the road.
Digital camera Review: Great camera bag for travel Summary: 4 Stars
I read all the reviews before buying the Pentax Crossover Bag but I didn't realize how really small it is. I have a Pentax K10 with the kit lens, a flash, the 50 to 135mm F2.8 Pentax lens plus filters and extra AA batteries for the flash and camera. Amazing it all fits into this bag. I would recommend this bag for travel and street photography. If you have a lot of equipment then you are left with leaving something behind or getting a larger bag. It would be nice if it held more but then you would give up the compact size. One reviewer complained that the Pentax name was too conspicuous. I placed black Velecro over the name to solve that problem.
Digital camera Review: Great for what its intended for... Summary: 5 Stars
Perfect for short outings, casual shoots. Fit my Pentax K2000 with two lenses and flash, plus accessories perfectly. Had to do a little investigating to see how to move partitions around to accomodate my stuff, but no big deal..certainly not enough to take two stars off the bag itself for my lack of info..Overall, great bag for the price for the beginning photographer. Mine came in black with gray...guess you get what you get, but I preferred that to blue for my daughter.
Digital camera Review: Great little bag Summary: 4 Stars
This bag usually carries my XTi with a Tamron 28-75 2.8 attached and either a 580ex flash or 70-200mm 4.0. A kit lens fits nicely in the top compartment. It is not comfortable on long hikes, but it is great for around town use.
