Nice display. All of the cheaper ones are plagued by very prominent "screen-door" effect. Picture size is comparable to standard 4x3 photos. For optimal display, I would recommend using 2 frames, one loaded with vertically the other with horizonally composed pictures.Digital camera Review: Best digital frame on the market!

After a lot of research, bought this for my parents for Christmas. This frame is so superior to the competitors on the market! Picture quality is amazing, it's easy to use, and enormously compatible with everything.
My only complaint is the enclosed software...it's primitive and buggy. But, it's also unneccessary. Just plug it into your PC and treat it like a flash drive. Or stick in one of the many different memory stick formats it accepts.

I have other frames and they are a convenient way to see my photos but I have never been pleased with the screen quality vs print quality. An 8 megapixel camera quality is lost on the lesser screens.
Enter this philips. It is like night and day. I am running it side by side on the same slide show and it looks like a 3 megapixel camera vs an 8 megapixel.
Oh yeah and it will operate off of the charger so viewers with eysite limitiations can pick it up and view it in their hands just like a photo.
