This one was tough to find at Christmas time (until I looked online at Amazon, that is). After deciding on the features that I wanted and reviewing several different products I decided on the Philips Digital Picture Frame. I couldn't be happier. The bigger screen and timer are just a few of its many great features. Wanted to give this to my mother for Christmas. I've spent two days trying to get it to work (and I'm a computer geek). On the phone with Philips three times - have uninstalled, reinstalled, firmware upgrade - tried four different USB ports - It just plain won't transfer pictures.
It's a BEAUTIFUL item - resolution terrific, but I don't want to look at their sample pix - I want to look at mine. : - )
Will send to Philips - but they will only exchange. Once the kinks are worked out, this will probably be a wonderful item, but too late for me and it is EXPENSIVE.

i thought the digital frame was a bit pricer than other frames that i've seen online but the quality of this frame is great. also it has the battery backup and the many feathers like auto timer/shut off and on. also it has many viewing prefence like randam and sequential. the best thing is it auto adust the photos so i do not have to do any cropping or editing. great product. i wish the frame was a bit larger but i am still happy.Digital camera Review: GREAT digital photo frame, horrible software to use it

This frame is awesome. The picture quality and functions it allows you to customize make this a GREAT frame to buy. My only complaint is that the software that comes with it -- Philips Photo Manager -- is TERRIBLE. I am a very technical person and usually can go without even looking at the instructions. However, even after reading the instructions and trying to get the software to work correctly, I can say that the Photo Manager is a worthless piece of software. I couldn't even get it to show me the folders on my hard drive correctly. I ended up uninstalling the software and instead using the Microsoft XP PowerToy called ImageResizer to get my photos to the right size (in batch), and then just uploaded the photos from my computer as if the frame were a USB drive. If you didn't understand what I just wrote, expect to spend a lot of time on the phone with Philips customer support to get any photos off your computer onto the frame. If you are planning on just using a memory card (CompactFlash, SmartMedia, etc.), you should have no problems.
All that said -- now that I finally have my wedding photos on the digital frame -- I love it.
