Digital camera Review: Quality Product that Doesn't Disappoint Summary: 5 Stars
The Philips Digital Picture Frame deserves its fine reviews. In fact, it's the first picture frame that lives up to the potential of the product category. I've found other picture frames to be disappointing. Not so with this frame. It works well on many levels; it's attractive, delivers a bright and detailed image, has a satisfying user interface with intelligent options, even the packaging is unusually clever. Nice job Philips.
If you value a quality product, this frame will not disappoint.

Digital camera Review: The perfect gift for my mom! Summary: 5 Stars
The photo clarity on this frame is great, and the wide viewing angle is a big plus! I am also impressed with the quality of the frame and stand - it is sturdy and elegant. We gave it to my mom after loading up a CF card with photos of all the kids & grandkids in the family. So as soon as she plugged it in she was greeted with hundreds of cherished photos!
Digital camera Review: Unattractive frame! Summary: 3 Stars
Note: This review is unrelated to picture quality/user interface/tech attributes. Instead, this review is for people looking for an *attractive* wood digital frame.
I purchased this as a gift with intentions of loading photos onto it before presenting it to the recipient. However, I have returned it for two reasons:
1) The "wood" is not real - in fact, it's not even laminate. The frame surface is thin metal with a wood print on it. In my opinion, it looks fake to the point of being tacky. The "wood" color and grain looks like what you'd see on someone's living room walls in the 70's (i.e. wood paneling).
2) When I peeled the protective label off the LCD surface, it left an unsightly discoloration on the frame where the label overlapped onto the frame (the size of a dime!). What a shame to spend $180 and have a blemished product! I could never give this as as gift.
For anyone looking for a good quality "traditional looking frame" - it doesn't appear to exist yet. I would recommend the metal frame instead.
