I bought this frame for a gift for my dad and had it delivered to me so I could load it up with photos. The power cord didn't work on the first frame I received and I had to send it back for a replacement. My gift was late since I had to return it for a replacement. The next frame I received worked fine. The frame is very nice looking compared to ones I have seen in the stores. The picture is super clear. I bought this frame for my mom and she loved it! I loaded more than 160 photos and set it up to rotate through all of them. My mom is starting to lose her memory, so it really helps to see these pictures again and again. I was even able to set the frame up to go on and off at set times so she never has to worry about doing anything with it---a great feature!
The picture quality is excellent and it's fun to watch it go from one photo to the next because it's always different.
The frame was a bit pricey. There are cheaper ones available, but I wanted the larger frame (8"), and those cost a lot more.
I also had some trouble getting all the photos uploaded that I wanted to. I purchased a 1GB disk but it kept telling me it was full when it clearly wasn't. I managed to get all the pictures on it that I had, but it did take me a long time, and I'm still not quite sure what I did.
Overall, this is a terrific frame!

Love this frame!!! The quality compared to most is very good! The special effects that it uses to change between photos are really cool. It is very easy to set-up and use. Having the built in memory is a plus. The fact I didn't need to use a reader/writer and could transfer photos already on my computer to the SD Card (or other memory card)right in the photo frame was great. The drag and drop software was really easy to use to put the photos in the ordered that I wanted them to appear in once on the frame. One of the best features is being able to unplug the frame and still show photos with the built in battery. It is nice that battery will recharge while just plugged into the wall automatically! My parents can use it for new grandbaby pictures as well as pictures from a recent trip to Ireland.
The internal memory is sufficient for holding a lot of pictures if you take the time to reduce the file size of the image before loading it to the frame. A picture on the order of 100-200kb still looks great on the frame. No need to load 1.5MB pictures directly from your digital camera, you won't see much difference anyway.
Image quality is great, and it serves its purpose of allowing them to have many pictures in one frame. It's a space saver.

This is a FABULOUS gift for grandparents if you preload the pictures. Just be aware that the customer support folks are not that knowledgeable, probably since the product is new. Don't bypass their software to load the pix if you're transferring from your PC to the frame - their software reduces the memory needed for each one. And even though the software for different size frames is labelled the same, it is not compatible and you can only have one version installed on your pc at a time.
