After looking through a wide variety of cd players, (you would be surprsed at how few there are with a clock function,) I settled on this one because of it's design, and it's brand. I have never had any problems with Philips and like their products very much. The size is wonderful! The sound quality is very good too. The buttons are in the right places which make it easy to use -especially when setting the time. I just love the design of this clock/radio/cd player!
