It's basically as advertised. Works fine. Only complaints are that the numbers are a little too bright (lights up the whole room at night, kind of like a grown up night-light), and the quality of the CD player sound isn't great (but, what do you really expect). After looking through a wide variety of cd players, (you would be surprsed at how few there are with a clock function,) I settled on this one because of it's design, and it's brand. I have never had any problems with Philips and like their products very much. The size is wonderful! The sound quality is very good too. The buttons are in the right places which make it easy to use -especially when setting the time. I just love the design of this clock/radio/cd player!Digital camera Review: Good value

I have yet to find anything wrong. The town I live in has really bad radio single and it picks the radio up great. Only thing I would change is on the duel alarm you can pick the days it goes off. I have to get up early all the time but I have one time for Mon-Fri and another for Sat-Sun. I found this to be a great little device. I wanted to play music in the kitchen and needed something small for on top of the refrigerator with dials that could be easily reached from that position. The radio sound and the CD sound are good and the antenna is inside the unit so this avoids having to try to turn an external antenna around to get a good signal. It will display your choice of military time or regular time. I have had a problem with keeping the "regular" time displayed as it seems to jump to the military time display somehow. Maybe this is just me and I will have to re-read the directions again. The only suggestions for improvement I might make would be to illuminate the radio station indicator bar so it is easier to see when you are searching for channels. My sister owns this unit and she bought one for me and I liked this unit so much I bought one for two family members. This is a nice product for that out-of-the-way place in your home where you'd need a small player to listen to music.
