Digital camera Review: Great value

This is my second Philips CD Clock Radio. It's great value for the money and works really well with great sound. I stayed in a hotel back in November 2006 where they had one of these radios and I was very impressed and was happily surprised when I learned how inexpensive they were. So - the clock has a battery backup - fantastic... but wait a minute... that is only to allow the clock to remember what time it is when the power comes back on... while the power is off, you can't use the radio, cd player, or the ALARMS!!!
Is it really difficult to understand the concept of "if the power goes off, I still need to wake up at the proper time - so switch to buzzer mode and wake me up!!!"
With this fatal flaw, I cannot endorse this product.
Digital camera Review: Is there a cd-radio worth the bucks ($)

Purchased this as a replacement for the RCA RP5640 - CD clock radio which lasted all of 12 days. While the Philips cost ~40% less, it didn't impress on the large points (not feeling "cheap" and not auto-setting the current time) and the small (didn't include the backup battery). Other small points: (1.) The clock face doesn't appear to have a dimmer switch, and in order to play a CD you've got to have a red "cylon eye" glowing as well. (2.) The mechanism of the cd player can be heard from 2 feet away (a "whirring").
If it lasts, I may recall that ~$40 USD was a decent price. Right now, I'm thinking not-so-much.

I was very frustrated that after using the clock Philips AJ3910 CD Clock Radio) for just a day or so, the light for one of the digits went out. Having just had a baby, I don't have a lot of free time to be repackaging the product and heading down to the post office. I know it is just a fluke but extremely frustrating nonetheless.Digital camera Review: Love it

Bought it, received it & love it! Big numbers- military time also! There is a wonderful "go to sleep mode" from 90 minutes to 15 minutes. I've been looking for an alarm clock just like this one! Thank you Amazon.
