Digital camera reviews of Philips DVP3345V/17 DVD/VCR ComboDigital camera Review: DVD/VCR Combo Summary: 4 Stars
As we move from the analog TV world to the digital TV world, we still have a lot of VHS tapes and DVDs which we like to watch. This was the perfect mate to go with our new Vizio HD TV. We can easily switch from HD TV to VHS tape or DVD. It is great value for the money.
Digital camera Review: DVD/VCR combo Summary: 2 Stars
Product came in a poorly wrappped box and a defect on one of the sound output channels was found. I will never buy refurbished again. Am disappointed.
Digital camera Review: Defective after three years. Summary: 2 Stars
I have a slightly different model, but in essentials I believe it is the same player as this one. I noticed other users also posted that they had this problem, and some earlier than others! I've hardly tried to play any VHS tapes on it at all, but recently (after three years of satisfied ownership) I tried to play a VHS tape with it and it "kindly but stubbornly" refused. This appeared to cause a further glitch to the system in that now, when I try to play DVDs, it will play them for a few minutes until the whole thing will shut itself off (usually after the VCR makes some angry clicks and whirs.) After that it will not work for even a few more seconds again without unplugging the machine for a couple of minutes, but even then it will only play DVDs for a few minutes more-- 10 minutes at the most-- before shutting down again.
It is very frustrating and I am currently dismantling it for fun before I throw it away. I would have hoped it would last as long as my old combo DVD player; I can't remember the model but it lasted at least ten years. Too bad this one couldn't cut it.

This had no tuner and since we had neither cable or dish , it would not work. Very disappointed.
Digital camera Review: Don't Buy This Piece of Junk Summary: 1 Stars
I have never written a review on any product before but I am so angry with this so-called DVD/VCR that I can hardly stand it. The VCR stopped working within 2 months. Won't record, won't play and the remote is not reliable. Setting timer recordings did not always work and I would return home after work only to find that nothing was recorded. What a frustration! Don't buy it!
