Digital camera reviews of Philips DVP3345V/17 DVD/VCR ComboDigital camera Review: Philips VCR/DVD Combo Summary: 3 Stars
Poor instructions made set-up difficult. Got it to play VCR cassette but not DVD, for which connection cables not supplied. Recording from TV not possible, as TV has only single port, ANT IN. Philips tech says need to buy additional RF modulator for complete hook-up, which raises total price of unit by 60%. Not a bargain.
Digital camera Review: Phillips DVD/VCR Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased 2 of these within 3 months so I would not have to learn how to program 2 different ones and within 16 months both of them were junk. They don't record half of the time and when they do the sound is watery and the machines eat the tapes. I assumed Phillips was a reputable company with quality products but I was wrong and now I am stuck with 2 units that look brand new but do not work.
Digital camera Review: Phillips DVD/VCR Model DVP3345V/17 Summary: 5 Stars
I received the order very quickly. Connecting the video player was a snap with the provided instructions. So far it plays both VCRs and DVDs wonderfully. But you would expect that. Ask me again in a year. My only complaint so far is that the remote isn't intuitive. I can't say how many times I've opened the DVD drawer when trying to eject a VCR. Old dog--new tricks.

This is a product review - not a service review (compay was excellent in shipping, etc.) This DVD/VCR combo does NOT come with a tuner. Please read the product description. Obviously I did not. The company gave excellent service, however, and the PLAYERs were received in good time. The product itself needs to be taken off the market because it costs more to buy the separate components (if you don't already have a cable/satellite box) than it does to buy a brand new up-to-technology-date DVD/VCR combo. Don't waste your money on this product. Yes, I would do business with the company again.
Digital camera Review: Satisfied Summary: 5 Stars
I wanted a VCR/DVD player without a recording feature. The Phillips DVP was inexpensive, easy to set up (I'm electronically challenged), and has good picture qualtiy. There is no squeaking or noice when running VHS tapes, as occurred with my last player.
