I was considering purchasing a set that was twice the price but saw these for $10.92 sold by Amazon. Philips is a well known company so I decided to give them a try. The cables looked sufficiently sturdy and the connectors fit fine. They were not gold plated nor did they have the braided jacket like the others. After everything was hooked up, I played one of my DVD. The picture quality was very good. To be fair, I did not have a set of the more expensive cables to compare against but in the end, it does what its suppose to and the price made it a good purchase.Digital camera Review: Does what it's supposed to do...

I searched locally at Circuit City, Radio Shack and Target for a similar product and found Amazon to be a better deal for a brand name product that performs flawlessly.
