Digital camera Review: A good choice among a small candidate field.

I have a SE7452B base set (w/extra phone) and added a 3rd unit to it. 3 weeks of use. For now I think it was a good choice. My last phone died after a long life (Uniden 5.8gHz), so I was forced into the market. I find that buying the most advanced technology at any given point time is a good idea.
Since I opted for DECT I was forced to choose between this and the Siemens, which does not have great reviews either. Let's face it. For some reason, cordless phone systems have many quirks from model to model and fair to acceptable usability at best. These new DECT phones are more advanced and since you can access features cell-phone like from a menu, they are much easier to use. But your choice is very limited for now.
I can live with this one just fine. Volume could be louder; I have no idea why it is soft. I agree with Campbell's review so don't need to repeat.
You must Read the Manual Carefully to figure out the features - Not all of which really work well. But it is still a step up from prior technology.
I have regular Verizon service. I do not use it for business - personal only. I cannot imagine how I could use this easily and productively in a serious home office.
After reading the helpful advice from some of the others I disabled the Verizon voice mail and turned off the 1st ring - no chiming every 30 minutes. It is ridiculous that the CID lights blink all the time so put tape over them if you need to and look at your base station to see if you have messages.
I have not had quality problems with this product, at this point.
