It's hard to come up with an intelligent review for this thing, so I won't try. Read all the others, concentrate on the one-star reviews. If I could rate this phone less than one star I would. Digital camera Review: Weird Wall Mount

If you are planning on replacing an existing wall-mount phone, forget about this Philips. It does *not* fit a standard wall mount bracket. Yes, you can fiddle around, make it sort of work, but, no matter what you do, you'll end up with a odd-looking replacement. The phone itself looks nice, but not designed for the wall bracket you probably have already in place. The GE DECT-6 fits correctly, though it is only an OK phone.
This phone also, as others have pointed out, quite "chimey" -- every little action triggers a little chime, gets old pretty fast.
When I used with local Verizon service, it also chimes once every 30 minutes -- not on the hour and half hour, but some random start time. Evidently, this is a result of Verizon Home Voice Mail, though does not effect my other phones. I ended up having Verizon disable Voice Mail, at least the phone is quieter now.
I ended up keeping the phone (and extra handset), it is OK in my home office (and extra handset in the basement). Yes, the voice quality is very good.
Someday, I hope, someone will make a good-looking, functional, well-designed wall mount phone.
Digital camera Review: NOT a Good Choice with Broadband Phone Service

Great telephone; annoying indicator chimes. Impossible to use with any VOIP Telephone Service Provider that uses FSK packet sending (specifically MWI - message waiting indicators).
Approximately every 30 minutes or after a message is left in order to signal if there is a new message; the receipt of this packet will cause the Philips SE7452B/37 phones to chime and light up their message waiting indicators. Turning the ringer off or using the "do not disturb" feature does not prevent the chime sound from occurring.
Until Phillips fixes this, you might not want to try it with your VOIP Phone Service Provider, unless you'd like an unintended grandfather clock feature.
My VOIP Provider - VoicePulse Broadband Phone Service, is aware of the problems with this telephone - strangely, the Philips Tech Reps I spoke with were not... too bad, as I loved many things about this phone...!
Highly recommended (Five Stars) if you don't have VOIP (FSK) phone service!!!

In general, we are happy w/ our new phone. One of the attractions to this one vs other models was that you could have it wall mounted and still have the handset sit in the base. We had to drill 2 extra holes to make it fit, but now it is mounted and is working well. After the initial set-up, learning the other features and functions takes awhile, we are still figuring it all out! So far, it is not showing us "caller-ID", so we may need to call our provider as well to see what is wrong. This sound quality is definitely better than the Vtech we have at our cabin. We may even buy a 2nd Philips SE7452B for there!
