Digital camera reviews of Philips VGA CMOS Sensor 30FPS USB 2.00 Compatible WebcamDigital camera Review: Philips Web Cam Summary: 1 StarsThis product is trash and if I kept the box instead of assuming it works I would have returned it. Live and learn.
Digital camera Review: Not compatible with Vista 32 either Summary: 1 StarsThis device does not work on Vista. Period. I finally got that from the support site after a week of constant emails and calls.
Digital camera Review: Just about eveything you could want in a webcam Summary: 5 StarsI purchased the Philips VGA CMOS Sensor 30FPS USB 2.00 Compatible Webcam to test with our video interviewing system [www.interviewondemand.com] and can report that it worked flawlessly on my system (which is Vista Premium Home) and with our online video interviewing service.
I also had a chance to test it with MSN messenger and Skpye. It never hiccupped. For the price (we paid about $28 including shipping) it would be very hard to beat.
The head and camera lens are easily positioned and it cleverly turns into a quick USB hub (1 port) when you need it,just by pulling the camera body out and setting it aside. My opinion is that it can more than give Logitech a run for its money. Choose this camera and you won't be disappointed.
Digital camera Review: Very clear, Works The way I needed it to! Summary: 4 StarsThe video is clear and the demo games that came with it are really fun! You should try this out. I used this with a friend online to show them my fish tanks and they could see clearly my beautiful fish! I don't really use any of the extras that come with it and only for a video chat with friends but it far surpasses any of the similar priced cams I have tried so far. It may not be the best but you can't complain with such a clear view!
Digital camera Review: Not Compatable with Windows Vista 62 Bit Summary: 1 StarsPlease note that I gave this as a gift to someone with Vista Windows operating system. He had a nightmare and crashed his system several times. After about an hour or 2 or working with Philips he was told it definately will not work with Vista Operating System 62bit
