I got it to work with no troubles on Ubuntu Linux, though it's definitely nowhere near 30fps. It auto-adjusts well for given light conditions and clarity is very good. I am pleasently impressed with this. The speed, color, and picture quality are all quite excellent. The built in light is a nice idea but not tremendously helpful. The cyllindrical head swivels up and down as does the lens itself. It comes with a CD to install the software. Digital camera Review: Good quality for cheap price

It isnt the best but for the price it is very cute and the picture is crystal clear and comes in very good. The fact that you can unplug the camera from the usb base and use the usb port that is integrated into the base for something else is very conveient.Digital camera Review: Incredible, for the price of course!

This webcam is awesome for messengers and video; but I have to admit that it's lacking on the still photos aspect. However, I'm using it pretty much just for video and it's quality is amazing. There's even a little light at the top of it to help in middle of dark situations. Spiffy. It's a USB stand as well in case you needed to plug anything else in. It comes with a game that has entertained a three year old friend of mine (yes, I'm a big kid =d).
