Be careful with Amazon promises; they are not trust worthy.
I bought this item (Seller Amazon, not a third party) almost 3 months ago for $45. A month and a half later I received an email saying the item is late and Amazon asked me to confirm if I still wanted to wait for it; I tought it maybe will take 2 or 4 weeks more, so I confirmed the order. A few days ago I received another email saying they still can't find an available item so they need me to confirm again if I wanted to keep waiting. Then I opened my order and click on the item when I was able to understand WHY: The item now costs almost $100! The item is available (is the same, not even a different link, not a different model, not different seller), but Amazon decided to define a new price and ignore the fact that they offered to the public a different price and that I made the order for that price. I have an IT company myself and if I say this is the price and a customer buys the item or service I keep the price even if I see the chance to charge more. I have respect for my customers, and I have respect for myself (as I keep my word).
But the thing that bothered me the most was that they kept saying lies about why they didn't delivered my order and kept me waiting. I also wrote to Amazon asking why this was taking so long if they said the item was available 3 months ago; the response they gave me was a lie.
