Purchased to use with my Dish TV and works just as advertised. The unit is plugged directly into the actual wall electrical unit. We have had no problems, yet. The green light does change to red when home-line phone is in use. The product was delivered when stated and the actual package arrived in good condition. Hope that this product lasts more than a few months, bit concerned of purchase due to all the mixed reviews.Digital camera Review: Lifesaver

I needed to install a Life Alert system for my ageing Mother with health issues who lives alone. Unfortunately where there were phone jacks there wasn't power and where there was power no phone jacks and I needed both. I installed the Easy Jack 2 base in her bedroom and the Alarm unit in the family room with the remote Easy Jack 2. It worked perfectly first try out of the box and saved me an expensive rewireing project to make the alarm work. I couldn't be happier with the product.Digital camera Review: Love this Product

We have busy house with cable, directtv, playstation 3, Tivo etc. Our phone company couldn't install a jack in one of the bedrooms without putting a whole in our siding into the bedroom and NO we did not want that. This product works awesome. We have it in one of the bedrooms for our DVR and it's wonderful. Highly recommend it. The price is great too.Digital camera Review: Marginal overall quality. I bought a pair of these units for use with FAX machines. The sound quality is okay, but there's huge amount of noise injected into the sound stream. These things pickup everykind of noise within 200-feet of them. Motor noise, flickering fluorescent lamps, spark noise, 60-cycle hum, they're like magnets for electrical noise. The FAX works but frequently the machine will abort the transmission or reception of a FAX.Digital camera Review: Mediocre

While this unit does exactly what it says... i dont think i would recommend it to anyone. i am using it for a simple phone line, and the static created by this unit is so loud and strong, that it almost makes the phone useless.
