I purchased these units for my Dish Network satelite system. I have one DVR receiver upstairs and one downstairs. I simply followed the easy to read instructions that came with the Easy Jack set, plugged it in and it works perfectly. I also purchased an additional extension unit for the upstairs and it also works perfectly even with the base unit downstairs.
